Rules of Play

Matches will be played from the silver tees.

Any player over 60 may play the gold tees if declared at the beginning of the season, except on the par 3s; they must play the silver tees.

USGA rules will govern all play except for the following.

- You may move your ball a grip length anywhere on the course. However, you cannot change your lie surface. (If you are in the rough, it must stay in the rough; if you are in a bunker, it must stay in the bunker, and so on for each different lie surface).

All lost balls, out of bounds, and hazards will be played as stroke and distance. The distance and drop location of the ball will be determined and agreed on by both you and your opponent. All balls in bunkers will stay in the bunker, but you will be allowed to fix the lie in the bunker before hitting the shot. (You may rake the spot, then return the ball for the shot)

Only your opponent can give you a putt. No birdie putts shall be given due to the skins game.

 Scoring

The match will be scored Net Match Play.

The difference in each player's handicap will be applied in order of the hardest hole to the easiest hole on the scorecard.

Each hole is worth 1 point, and a tie on a hole gives each player 1/2 of a point.

The lowest total net score in each match is worth 1 point.

Turn in the scorecards to the golf shop after your round.

Playoffs

All 14 teams will make the playoffs. For a team member to play in playoff matches, the team member must have played a minimum of 4 scheduled matches for the season. The playoff handicap will be determined as so: the two lowest consecutive weeks of handicaps will be used as the team members' handicap for the playoffs. The playoff seeding is as follows:

4 Teams will get the first week by

The first half winner and 2nd place

The second-half winner and 2nd place

The highest point total of the first or second half, and the second-place team.

If any of these teams are duplicated, the next highest point team will be moved into this position. The remaining teams will be scheduled to play matches based on the season-ending points seeding.

The championship will be played as an 18-hole match consisting of the number of places determined by each team.
